I've just about had a guts full of this latest project at work. So we find out again today that we're working on the wrong code because this stupid Russian woman left the old code there, but added the new code to a different location. So everyone is working on the old code at the expected location, only to discover they should be working somewhere else on the server. Why don't you just remove or archive off the old code, and replace it with the new code, but leave it in the same place so that everyone is still working in the expected location?? Honestly, this project has been such a disaster from start to finish.

I've never had to work with a group of programmers that don't even bother to implement any kind of version control, so you have to worry about other people changing files that your working on while your working on it. There's nothing like spending ages chasing a bug in code only to find out hours later that someone introduced the bug to the code while you were working on it. We're supposed to have a deadline for next week, but I can't see us reaching it at this point. This is the second time now I have finished all the required code only to have them screw it all up. And to add insult to injury, the stroppy cow gets all bitchy with me - why? because she doesn't understand english, because she can't communicate properly or be understood? and why would she do something that stupid in the first place?? Of course they don't take any responsibility for anything! I checked with them a bunch of times to make sure it was right, but I can't understand a damn thing she says... I can't wait to leave!
